Assets of former head of TCC in Odesa region found to be unjustified

The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine has upheld the prosecutor's claim and recognized the assets used by the family of the former head of the district territorial center for recruitment and social support in Odesa region as unjustified.

This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.

The cars in question are a Toyota C-HR HYBRID, made in 2022, worth UAH 1 million 381.6 thousand, and a Toyota C-HR, made in 2021, worth UAH 564.8 thousand. Despite the fact that the cars were purchased by close relatives of the official, he could directly or indirectly perform actions identical in content to the exercise of the right of disposal. At the same time, neither the official nor his relatives had the financial means to acquire these assets.

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, based on materials from the State Bureau of Investigation, filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to declare unjustified the assets of one of the heads of the territorial center for recruitment and social support in Odesa region, totaling more than UAH 1.9 million. The case concerned the head of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district recruitment center, Serhii Korak.

Meanwhile, in February, the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to declare the assets of the former deputy head of the regional territorial center for manning and social support unjustified. The assets in question are those of the former deputy head of the Kyiv Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support. The total value of the assets is about UAH 2.9 million. After analyzing the property status of the deputy head of the RTCK and SP and his family member, detectives of the State Bureau of Investigation found that it was impossible to acquire this property at the expense of legitimate income and reported this to prosecutors.
