During the evacuation of wounded civilians from Antonivka , patrol police officers in a police car hit an anti-personnel mine.
According to the Kherson regional police, the detonation damaged a wheel.
"A 32-year-old patrol police officer was injured, his life is not in danger," the statement said.
Also in Bilozerka, a police car hit an anti-personnel landmine. The explosion damaged a wheel. Fortunately, the police officers were not injured.
Recently, volunteers and representatives of the Kherson City Military Administration evacuated 47 people from Antonivka and other hotspots of the community. One of the volunteers was injured as a result of an explosive drop from an enemy drone. According to Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson MCA, volunteers and MCA staff involved in the evacuation of people from under fire risk their own lives and lose their health to get those who ignored calls to evacuate until the last moment.
"Every day, according to the official, it is getting harder to find volunteers for evacuation teams working in extremely dangerous conditions. After all, each flight may be the last," added Mrochko.
However, despite the danger and shelling, the evacuation of civilians in Kherson region continues. Recently, patrol police evacuated a group of people from the village of Skhidne. The evacuees were handed over to representatives of the Kherson City Military Administration, who provided accommodation and free accommodation for the rescued people in one of our shelters.
Residents of the Kherson region are advised to contact their local police departments, call 102, local authorities or volunteer organizations for information on evacuation. Information can also be obtained by calling the Kherson Regional Civil Defense Administration's hotline: 0800-33-09-51.
