Evacuation: a group of people evacuated from a dangerous village in Kherson region

On the afternoon of December 29, patrol police evacuated a group of people from the village of Skhidne.

According to Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson MVA, people are grateful that they will celebrate the New Year alive and safe.

"The evacuees were handed over to representatives of the Kherson City Military Administration, who provided accommodation and free accommodation for the rescued in one of our shelters ," he said in a statement.

Recently, special forces of the Kherson police rifle battalion, together with a juvenile from the Kherson District Police Department and representatives of the Save Ukraine volunteer organization , evacuated a family from the coastal village of Novodmitrivka in the Bilozerska community to safety. A 28-year-old local resident asked the volunteers to urgently evacuate her and her 7-year-old son from the dangerous Novodmitrivka.

Volunteers and representatives of the Kherson City Military Administration also evacuated 47 people from Antonivka and other hotspots of the community. One of the volunteers was injured as a result of an explosive drop from an enemy drone.

Before that, a 40-year-old resident of Komyshany asked the police to evacuate her and her four children as soon as possible after another enemy attack. Three girls aged 15 and 12, as well as a 7-year-old boy, could no longer stand the constant fear for their lives and hiding in the basement from "enemy aircraft". Therefore, police officers from Police Department No. 2 (Korabelnyi) together with colleagues from Police Department No. 2 (Oleshkivskyi) of the Kherson District Department evacuated the family from this dangerous settlement.
