The Support Kherson Charitable Foundation has stepped up its support for medical institutions in Kherson Oblast. With the participation of Nisar Ahmad, the foundation's chairman, an assistance plan was developed, under which hospitals have already received consumables and equipment worth more than UAH 3 million.

Soon, several more medical institutions in Kherson region will receive furniture, office equipment and new equipment worth UAH 4 million, and by the end of the year the total amount of support will exceed UAH 10 million.

Recently, Kherson medics received three restored ambulances from the International Medical Corps. The vehicles, damaged by shelling, were repaired thanks to the efforts of volunteers and are ready to save lives again.

Since 2022, the International Medical Corps has donated medicines, furniture, medical equipment, clothing, and more to Kherson medical institutions for a total of more than UAH 31.6 million.

In addition, medical facilities in the region are being upgraded. One of the city's hospitals is completing the arrangement of a shelter with the help of volunteers. Comfortable and modern wards were created for patients, as well as a small gym.

At the end of October, a medical outpatient clinic and an emergency team base were reopened in one of the settlements of the Chornobaiv community, which was almost destroyed as a result of Russian aggression. To ensure stable operation of the outpatient clinic, solar panels with accumulators for solar energy storage were installed.

In addition, with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Department of Health of the Kherson Regional State Administration, four modern portable X-ray machines were delivered to the medical institutions of the region. Thanks to the portability of the devices, examinations can be carried out on the spot without the need to transport the patient.
