Odesa Vice Mayor Oleksandr Filatov Buys ₴1.2M Toyota Camry, Salary Doubles

First Deputy Mayor of Odesa Oleksandr Filatov bought a Toyota Camry for UAH 1.2 million in March 2025. Also, the vice mayor's salary has increased more than 2 times compared to last year.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the official's annual declaration, as well as changes in his property status.

In 2024, Filatov's salary increased dramatically - he received more than UAH 1 million, which is twice as much as his income in 2023, when he earned about UAH 456.6 thousand.

In addition, Filatov declared substantial income from the sale of property. In 2024, he received UAH 956 thousand and UAH 1.8 million from other sources of income, and also kept cash in the amount of 52 thousand dollars. He has UAH 272.6 thousand in his bank account.

His wife, Liudmyla Kalashnyk, earned 653 thousand hryvnias from entrepreneurial activities over the year, and has 70 thousand dollars and 40 thousand euros on hand. Their son also has 40 thousand dollars.

Filatov's family owns several properties. Among them is a garden house in the village of Kryzhanivka near Odesa with an area of more than 860 m², which was purchased in 2015. In addition, the family has several land plots and an office in the center of Odesa. The declaration states that 75% of the office belongs to Filatov's wife, and the rest to another person.

The vice mayor also owns expensive Omega and Ulisse wristwatches, as well as two Lexus cars, one of which belongs to his wife.

In addition to this, Oleksandr Filatov indicated in his report to the NACP that he received income of UAH 1,786,477 from the sale of movable property, probably a car. On March 27, 2025, Filatov purchased a new Toyota Camry 2023 for UAH 1.2 million from Andriy Ivanovych Kovanzha.

Another vice mayor , Valeriy Silin, earned UAH 1 million 126 thousand in 2024, plus more than UAH 600 thousand in pension.

Meanwhile, Hennadii Trukhanov 's salary in 2024 was almost four times higher than his earnings in 2023.
