Odesa Mayor Trukhanov Declares ₴ 1.1M Income in 2023 - 3.8X Drop

Last year, Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov earned UAH 1 million 116 thousand 505 in his position, compared to UAH 293 thousand 169 that he declared as his salary in 2023, or 3.8 times more.

He stated this in his declaration, which was published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

The mayor also declared his income from last year:

The mayor keeps 139,743 hryvnias and 167,000 US dollars in cash - in 2023, there were fewer hryvnias (72,861) and more dollars (176,000). In banks, the mayor kept 986 thousand 967 hryvnias, 2 thousand 526 US dollars, and 27 thousand 633 euros.

The mayor's mother kept 612 thousand 640 hryvnias and 502 thousand 782 US dollars in cash, according to her declaration. Last year, she had more cash savings in the national currency - UAH 686,140, and the same amount of dollars. In 2024, the mayor's mother kept 42,402 hryvnias in banks. Last year, the mayor also owed his mother 200 thousand dollars.

The mayor's real estate in the new declaration is missing:

Themayor of Odesa declared a watch collection in 2020: Rolex, Ulysse Nardin, Patek Philippe, Breguet, A. Lange & Sohne. The cost of the watches is not specified. His mother owns a Bovet watch, as well as a collection of jewelry with precious stones (rings, earrings, pendants). Regarding transportation, Hennadii Trukhanov, as in 2023, indicated that he does not have a personal car
