Odesa Mayor Trukhanov Declares ₴ 1.1M Income in 2023 - 3.8X Drop

Last year, Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov earned UAH 1 million 116 thousand 505 in his position, compared to UAH 293 thousand 169 that he declared as his salary in 2023, or 3.8 times more.

He stated this in his declaration, which was published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

The mayor also declared his income from last year:

• Income from renting property to the Turkish company Miras Eurasia Gida Ithalat Ihracat Sanayi Ve Ticaret Ltd Sti - UAH 243,218, in 2023 it was more - UAH 388,386.
• My mother's pension is 76 thousand 496 hryvnias.
• 10 thousand 731 hryvnias received by the mayor's mother from renting property.

The mayor keeps 139,743 hryvnias and 167,000 US dollars in cash - in 2023, there were fewer hryvnias (72,861) and more dollars (176,000). In banks, the mayor kept 986 thousand 967 hryvnias, 2 thousand 526 US dollars, and 27 thousand 633 euros.

The mayor's mother kept 612 thousand 640 hryvnias and 502 thousand 782 US dollars in cash, according to her declaration. Last year, she had more cash savings in the national currency - UAH 686,140, and the same amount of dollars. In 2024, the mayor's mother kept 42,402 hryvnias in banks. Last year, the mayor also owed his mother 200 thousand dollars.

The mayor's real estate in the new declaration is missing:

• an apartment in Odesa with an area of 131 sq. m;
• a residential building in Odesa with an area of 252.4 square meters and a land plot of 681 square meters, which the mayor owns together with his mother;
• a land plot of 26 thousand 970 square meters owned by the mayor's mother;
• a 296-square-meter apartment, half-owned by his ex-wife Tetiana Koltunova and daughter Alisa.

Themayor of Odesa declared a watch collection in 2020: Rolex, Ulysse Nardin, Patek Philippe, Breguet, A. Lange & Sohne. The cost of the watches is not specified. His mother owns a Bovet watch, as well as a collection of jewelry with precious stones (rings, earrings, pendants).
