Odesa has amended the plan to develop regulations governing the placement of kiosks and summer playgrounds, and considered the issue of leasing municipal property. So far, it is only a matter of adjusting the preparatory documents, and the project itself was promised to be submitted for a separate public discussion.
This was reported by Oleksandr Slavskyi, a deputy of the Odesa City Council.
A number of issues were considered at the specialized commission on municipal property, economic and investment policy of the Odesa City Council.
According to Slavsky, the changes to the plan for developing regulations on the placement of kiosksand summer playgrounds caused a stir. According to the deputy, it is not about the regulatory act itself, but only about adjusting the plan for its preparation - with a change in the name of the document and the list of responsible structures. At the same time, the deadlines were left unchanged, and the Consumer Market Authority should complete its work in the first half of the year. The final draft is promised to be submitted for a broad discussion with the business community and the public.
The commission also considered additions to the so-called "list of the second type" - objects that the city leases without an auction. Mostly it is about premises for state institutions, but this time the recipients include the Caritas Odesa UGCC charity fund, which plans to use the premises for social activities. The documents for the Way Home Foundation Odesa were organized by a separate decision.
In addition, the commission members discussed the initiative of public organizations to engage them more actively in the development of strategic documents of the city. An agreement was reached with the Department of Economic Development to expand the participation of civic activists in the preparation and monitoring of Odesa's development strategies. According to the deputy, no separate decision was made in this regard, but the practice of such cooperation is planned to be implemented in the future.
At the end of January, the Department of Consumer Market Development and Consumer Protection of Odesa City Council planned to dismantle the kiosk on Pryvokzalna Square, but will be able to use the funds only in February.
