Odesa region is among the top five in terms of the number of businessmen with an income of 10 million

Analysts of the Opendatabot platform counted 67 thousand company owners whose business has an income of 10 million hryvnias, and 4,138 of them work in the Odesa region.

According to analysts, most businessmen are concentrated in the capital - 22% of the total, or 15,422 businessmen. The top three also include Dnipropetrovs'k region with 6,716 entrepreneurs (10%) and Lviv region with 5,244 (8%). If we add Kyiv region (4,951) and Odesa region (4,951), half of all businessmen in the country are concentrated in these five regions.

The smallest concentration of businessmen is in the frontline Mykolaiv (646 (1%), Luhansk (0.7%), and Kherson (423 (0.6%) regions. To get into the top 100 Ukrainian business leaders, companies need to have a revenue of more than UAH 8.99 billion. The entry threshold for the top 1000 is much lower: from UAH 1.29 billion per year.

80% of businessmen in Ukraine earn less than UAH 100 million a year. Only 2% of businessmen have an income of more than UAH 1 billion, or 1,355 businessmen.

The top ten leaders look like this:

70% of businessmen in the top 100 have Ukrainian registration. The top five also includes owners of companies registered in Cyprus, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Switzerland.
