Odesa region is among the leaders in terms of the amount of loans taken out by entrepreneurs under state guarantees

In April, Ukrainian entrepreneurs received 1,150 loans worth UAH 4.2 billion with a share of principal obligations guaranteed by the state amounting to UAH 2.4 billion.

This was reported by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

In total, as of May 1, 2025, since 2020, when this mechanism was launched, 31 lending banks have serviced 22,211 loans worth UAH 76.2 billion. Principal obligations partially covered by state guarantees on a portfolio basis amounted to about UAH 34.3 billion. This is 66% of the total limit of guarantees provided (UAH 51.7 billion).

The largest volume of such loans is serviced in Kyiv, totaling UAH 10.3 billion, and in the following regions:

As part of the support for micro, small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine, 46,781 loans totaling UAH 151 billion have been issued since December 2020, since the launch of the state guarantee instrument on a portfolio basis.
