Odesa Region Changed the Head of the Court Once Again: Who is the New Head and What is Interesting in His Declaration

A new chairman of the Bilyayivka District Court was elected in Odesa Oblast. It was Serhiy Dranikov.

This was reported by the court's press service.

Serhiy Dranikov was appointed by secret ballot to replace Olga Trushina, who had been the head of the Bilyaevsky District Court since 2016.

"According to the Decision of the meeting of judges of the Bilyayiv District Court of Odesa Region No. 7 dated September 23, 2024, according to the results of a secret ballot, Serhiy Dranikov was re-elected to the administrative position of the chairman of the Bilyayiv District Court of Odesa Region for a term of three years," the statement said.

According to the declaration made public by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, Serhiy Dranikov received a salary of UAH 1 million 348 thousand last year. The judge did not declare any other monetary assets. Dranikov has a wife and a son, but there is no information about their financial status in the declaration.

The Dranikovs own a residential house in Bilyayivka with a total area of 235 square meters and a land plot. In addition, the judge's wife Tetiana owns three apartments in Odesa. There is no information about bank accounts of Dranikov and his family.

Bilyaevsky district was formed in 1923. It is one of the largest districts of Odesa region and covers an area of 149.2 thousand hectares. The district is located in the central part of Odesa region, adjacent to the city of Odesa and is a suburban district. The district borders on Ovidiopol district to the north and northeast, the Republic of Moldova to the west, and Rozdilnyanskyi district to the northwest.

Medium and large settlements predominate in Bilyaivka district. In total, there are 52 settlements in the district, which are part of 20 village councils, Khlibodarske, and Bilyaivka.

Recently, the judges of the Fifth Administrative Court of Appeal, which operates in Odesa, elected a new chairman to replace Oleksandr Jaburia. Stepan Domuschi became the new head.

Prior to that, on September 16, judges of the Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa elected a new chairman to replace Serhiy Kichmarenko, and the deputy chairman ,Vadym Kovalenko, became the new chairman .
