Rozdilne Mayor's Family Leases 59.7 Hectares in Odesa Region

In 2024, the wife of Rozdilne Mayor Valeriy Shovkaliuk leased 597,106 square meters of land, or 59.7 hectares, in the village of Novyi Hrebenyk, Rozdilne district, Odesa region.

The mayor reported this in his annual declaration, published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, according to the Center for Public Investigations.

Since 2023, Olha Shovkaliuk has also owned a 787.3-square-meter warehouse in the village of Starosilie and a 15.3-hectare plot of land in the village of Shevchenkove, Rozdilnyansky district, which she has owned since 1993. It also rents 38.8 hectares in the same Novyi Hrebenyk and, starting in 2021, almost 12 hectares in Shevchenkove, and has the right to use 15 hectares in the village of Perkantsi, Rozdilnyanskyi district.

The fact is that she is the owner of the Vodoley farm. Valeriy Shovkaliuk himself owns 4.5 hectares in the village of Starostyne, and uses his wife's 105.9-square-meter house in the village of Novi Chobruchi, where there is also half a hectare of land owned by Olga Shovkaliuk.

The family also has one declared car, a 1999 Mercedes-Benz E 220, which has been owned by Olha Shovkaliuk since 2019.

The family's income last year was: Olha Shovkaliuk's salary at the Rozdilnya Education Center - UAH 475.6 thousand, the mayor's salary - UAH 751.3 thousand, his pension - UAH 139.1 thousand, his wife's pension - UAH 132 thousand, and another UAH 3,760 Valeriy Shovkaliuk received from the trade union of employees of state institutions.

Valeriy Shovkaliuk also received 15.8 thousand hryvnias from leasing property to Obriy-MTS, a limited liability company owned by Valeriy and Iryna Hrynevetski. Valeriy Hrynevetskyi is the brother of the former head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Serhiy Hrynevetskyi.

The family has no savings.
