In 2024, the mayor of Berezivka , Valeriy Hryhorash , stopped keeping his savings in hryvnia and instead of 396,000 hryvnias, he kept 12,000 US dollars.

As the mayor noted in his declaration, published by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, he has only cash savings, just like in 2023.

The mayor's family income last year was: his salary and pension - UAH 787,190 and UAH 139,314, as well as his wife's salary at the statistics department - UAH 8,720 and charitable assistance from the trade union - UAH 1.3 thousand.

The family has no vehicles, just like in 2023, and the only real estate Valeriy Hryhorash owns is two houses in Berezivka - 129.9 square meters and in the village of Zlatoustove - 39.7 square meters. In the village of Zlatoustove, the mayor has land plots of 25 hectares and 23.3 hectares.

Earlier, the mayor of Chornomorsk Vasyl Huliayev, the secretary of Podil City Council Oleh Albanskyi, who is acting mayor, the mayor of Pivdenne Volodymyr Novatskyi, the mayor of Rozdilne Valeriy Shovkaliuk, and the mayor of Odesa Hennadii Trukhanov also declared their assets.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi also reported on his assets in 2024. However, the declaration of the head of the Odesa Regional State (Military) Administration, Oleh Kiper, remains classified.

"Last year, the Center for Public Investigations, together with experts from the all-Ukrainian public campaign "Certification of Local Council Deputies," analyzed the declarations of nine mayors from the district centers of Odesa Oblast and found out which of them had the most land.
