An engineer-technician at school No. 49 from Odesa, who is also the mother of a fallen Ukrainian defender, was injured in a conflict with an employee of one of the city's charitable organizations.

This was reported by Olena Buynevych, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council.

According to her, the office worker beat the 72-year-old woman after a dispute because the pensioner was not allowed to enter the organization's empty office. According to Buynevych, the woman came there because the benefactors promised to provide her with a contract for medical care provided by IntoSana.

"According to her, the office worker refused to let her into the empty office, and after a verbal argument, she hit her in the chest. The woman fell down, her chest was crushed with a knee, a hood was pulled over her head and she was hit in the head with her hand. She ran away from there as fast as her age allowed, came to work, and felt sick. We called an ambulance, whose doctors passed the information to the police," the director of the department emphasized.

According to Buynevych, the employees of the organization where the conflict occurred insist that it was started by the pensioner herself, who began kicking the employee. However, according to the official, the victim was unlikely to physically harm her opponent.

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has already stated that he has taken the case under his control. Olena Buynevych also turned to former Deputy Mayor Dmytro Zheman to resolve the situation, as she claims he is involved in the organization where the conflict occurred.

Intent also asked Dmytro Zheman for a comment, but has not yet received a response.
