A meeting of the executive committee of the city council has started in Odesa. The members of the executive committee are planning to consider a number of important decisions related to the budget, municipal economy, social support and landscaping.
This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.
The meeting of the executive committee will be broadcast live.
Among the key issues are the approval of the report on the expenditures of the City Environmental Protection Fund for 2025 and the annual report on the implementation of the budget of the Odesa city territorial community. Members of the executive committee will also consider the transfer of municipal real estate for lease and the transfer of medical equipment to Maternity Hospital No. 5 on the right of usufruct.
One of the important decisions concerns the dismantling of a stationary temporary structure - a pavilion on Arcadia Beach, installed by a private entrepreneur, as well as the approval of a project to improve the embankment along the coast from Lanzheron Beach to Zolotyi Bereg, including the second phase of landslide protection structures.
In addition, the executive committee plans to decide to extend the period of residence of citizens in residential premises from the temporary housing fund and consider proposals to set tariffs for the use of public restrooms in the city.
Social and economic decisions include providing non-refundable financial assistance to participants of the Energodom program for energy modernization of apartment buildings, as well as setting tariffs for heat generated by alternative energy sources for several utility companies.
Members of the executive committee will also consider proposals to provide or refuse to provide assistance to certain categories of internally displaced persons living in the temporarily occupied territories to resolve housing issues.
Separate consideration of security and defense issues is planned: approval of the implementation of the City Target Program for Support of Territorial Defense Units and Volunteer Formations for 2022-2028, establishment of the procedure for financial incentives for members of volunteer formations, transfer of a vehicle to the rescue and diving service on the right of use, and amendments to the city's civil defense plan.
The agenda also included the write-off of fixed assets from the balance sheet of City Clinical Hospital No. 11, which will allow the hospital to upgrade its material and technical base and optimize the use of municipal property.
At the end of February, the executive committee reviewed issues covering the social sphere, housing and utilities, landscaping, energy modernization, ecology, transportation, architecture and land relations.
