Today, February 24, 2025, marks three years since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, an event that has radically changed the lives of every Ukrainian.

As reported on the municipality's website, from the first days of the war, Odesa has become an outpost of invincibility, withstood enemy attacks and continues to defend Ukraine's sovereignty.
On this day, Odesa residents, the military, relatives of the fallen heroes, representatives of local authorities and the public pay tribute to all those who gave their lives for the freedom of Ukraine. Commemorative events are held in the city: people carry flowers, light lamps at memorials and on the Walk of Fame.
