Odesa allocates almost UAH 1.2 billion for the Armed Forces

<span><span>The Odesa city territorial community finished 2024 with an overperformance of the revenue plan. The general fund of the budget received UAH 11,670.3 million, which is 104.8% of the annual plan. Thus, an additional UAH 529.6 million was received. Compared to 2023, revenues increased by UAH 807.4 million (+7.4%).</span></span>

<span><span>This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.</span></span>

<span><span><span>The main sources of income were tax revenues, which account for 94.8% of the general fund (UAH 11,059.8 million). The largest contribution was made by <b>personal income tax</b> - UAH 6,492.7 million (55.6% of total revenues), which exceeded the plan by UAH 267.6 million. </span></span></span>

  1. <span><span><span><span><span>The unified tax</span> brought in UAH 2,182.2 million (18.7% of revenues), exceeding the plan by UAH 84.3 million.</span></span></span></span>
  2. <span><span><span><span><span>The property tax</span> brought in UAH 1,368.2 million (11.7%), which is UAH 82.3 million more than planned.</span></span></span></span>
  3. <span><span><span><span><span>Excise tax</span> brought in UAH 927.0 million (8.0%), exceeding the plan by UAH 59.2 million.</span></span></span></span>
  4. <span><span><span><span><span>Local taxes</span> (tourist tax and parking fees) amounted to UAH 71.3 million (0.6%).</span></span></span></span>

<span><span>As for expenditures, the general fund of the budget utilized UAH 10,632.0 million, or 96.6% of the annual plan.</span></span>

  1. <span><span><span><span><span>Salaries</span> to public sector employees and utility companies amounted to UAH 5,591.5 million (52.6% of total expenditures).</span></span></span></span>
  2. <span><span><span><span><span>Utilities and energy</span> for educational and medical institutions - UAH 587.3 million.</span></span></span></span>
  3. <span><span><span><span><span>Housing and utilities</span> - UAH 1,458.3 million.</span></span></span></span>
  4. <span><span><span><span><span>Social programs</span> for vulnerable groups - UAH 492.9 million.</span></span></span></span>
  5. <span><span><span><span><span>Financial support to the Armed Forces</span> of Ukraine (subventions to military units) - UAH 243.6 million from the general fund and UAH 926.7 million from the development budget.</span></span></span></span>

<span><span>The community development budget received UAH 96.2 million, most of which was allocated for major repairs and the purchase of equipment for educational, healthcare and residential facilities.</span></span>
