Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Regional and Skadovsk District Prosecutor's Offices, a resident of the region was served in absentia a notice of suspicion of voluntary election to an illegal body.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, in September 2023, the suspect took part in illegal elections to the "Council of Deputies of the Skadovsk Municipal District" from Putin's United Russia political party. As a result, he received the "mandate of a deputy of the first convocation".

In November 2023, he submitted his candidacy for election as the "head of the Skadovsk municipal district". In this position, the man approved the composition of the personnel commission of the "district", the rules of improvement, regulations on the establishment, reorganization or liquidation of enterprises, the distribution of revenues to the "budget", etc. He also signed the "decision of the deputies" to approve the "official coat of arms and flag of the Skadovsk municipal district" designed according to Russian heraldry standards.

Earlier, under the procedural supervision of the Kherson Regional and Kakhovka District Prosecutor's Offices, an indictment was sent to court against an ex-expert of one of the regional district councils on the fact of collaboration. The investigation established that the accused, having professional knowledge and experience in local government, decided to build a "career" under the occupiers. To do this, in October 2023, she took part in a meeting of the so-called "Council of Deputies of the Chaplynsk Municipal District of Kherson Region", where she was elected to the position of "Head of the Chaplynsk Municipal District of the Region". In her pseudo-position, the woman performed organizational, administrative and economic functions. She supported the decisions and actions of the aggressor state and contributed to the formation of a positive image of the occupation authorities.

The director ofthe Krympatriot Center will also be tried for promoting service in the Russian army among children. Thus, the autonomy's prosecutor's office sent an indictment to the court against the director of the Krympatriot Center, who called on Ukrainian children and youth to serve in the enemy's armed forces. His actions are classified as violation of the laws and customs of war, as well as glorification of persons carrying out Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine through the media.

In addition, three local residents are suspected of holding senior positions in the occupation authorities of Kherson.
