Over the last day, Russians attacked more than 30 settlements in Kherson region. Nine houses and infrastructure were damaged, and nine people were wounded.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
During the day of July 2 to 3, the Russian army attacked at least 36 settlements in Kherson region. Both the frontline and relatively rear communities came under attack from drones, artillery and aircraft.
In particular, attacks were recorded in Kozatske, Komyshany, Stanislav, Dariivka, Zmiivka, Prydniprovske and Novovorontsovets. Kherson, Beryslav, Sadove, Tokarivka, Poniativka, Tyahyntsi and other localities in the region were also under fire. In total, over three dozen locations were shelled in the last day.
The aggressors targeted residential areas and critical infrastructure. Two high-rise buildings, seven private houses, an outbuilding and a car were damaged. Nine civilians were injured in the attacks.
In the morning, Russian troops attacked a resident of the Dniprovsky district of Kherson with a drone. The 74-year-old resident of Kherson sustained an explosive injury, concussion, and shrapnel wounds to his face and leg.
Russian troops continue massive attacks on the Kherson region: as a result of strikes from drones and artillery, there are numerous wounded civilians and medical workers. On the morning of July 1, the Russian army attacked Antonivka, injuring three people, two of whom were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds. Around 08:00 in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, a drone attacked a local resident - the man is in serious condition in the hospital.
It also became known that a 75-year-old woman from Bilozerka, who was wounded on June 29, has an explosive injury and a concussion. Another wounded man is a doctor at a Kherson hospital who was hit by a shell the day before. He has a contusion and explosive trauma.
At noon, the occupants shelled Beryslav, damaging an administrative building and an educational institution, and a drone hit a truck on the road in Beryslav district. Two young men aged 24 and 25 were injured.
In general, from July 1 to July 2, Russian troops shelled residential areas, critical infrastructure and social institutions. A multi-storey building, at least 11 private houses, a farm, an enterprise, a bus and several cars were damaged. A hospital in Kherson suffered the most damage, with eight people injured, including three medical workers.
