Occupants continue hunting for civilians in Kherson region: there are dead and wounded

The dead and wounded were killed and injured as a result of enemy UAV attacks in Kherson region on October 14.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The post says that under the procedural guidance of the Beryslav District Prosecutor's Office, pre-trial investigations have been launched in criminal proceedings on violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on October 14, 2024, the Russian military directed an FPV drone at a civilian car with five people near one of the settlements of the Beryslav district. As a result of the attack, two women, aged 72 and 56, sustained life-threatening injuries. A 72-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman were wounded. The driver was not injured.

Also, at about 10:00 am, a 68-year-old man riding a bicycle was injured as a result of an explosive drop from a drone in the village of Novooleksandrivka.

In addition, according to the head of the Kherson MVA Roman Mrochko, at about 19:00, Russian occupants shelled residential areas of the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. Two women who were in the house at the time of the enemy attack sustained injuries incompatible with life. Also, a 31-year-old woman who suffered as a result of the evening shelling of Dniprovsky district by Russian occupation forces was taken to the hospital. She sustained a mine-blast injury.

In general, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District Administration, on October 14, Antonivka, Beryslav, Burgunka, Novooleksandrivka, Novovorontsovka, Shlyakhove, Mylove, Havrylivka, Ingulets, Sofiyivka, Shyroka Balka, Stanislav, Chervonyi Mayak, Kachkarivka, Odradokamyanka, Zelenivka, Komyshany, Sadove, Kreschenivka, Mykhailivka, Kozatske and the city of Kherson came under fire and air strikes in Kherson region. During the shelling, the occupiers hit critical infrastructure, educational and medical facilities, a store, and residential areas of the region's settlements, including 23 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline and private cars. As a result of Russian aggression, 4 people were killed and 6 others were injured.
