The occupiers attacked 42 settlements in Kherson region, hitting residential areas and infrastructure. A child was killed and 14 other people were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
During the day of July 9-10, Russian troops attacked at least 42 settlements in Kherson region. Residential neighborhoods, critical and social infrastructure were hit by drones and artillery. Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Nadiivka, Osokorivka, and Antonivka were among the cities affected.
The occupants damaged two high-rise buildings, six private houses, a cell tower and several cars. One child was killed and 14 other people were injured in the shelling.
In Kherson region, the Russian army continues targeted attacks on civilians. A one-year-old boy was killed in the village of Pravdyne, Bilozerska community, during a drone strike. At the time of the attack, the child and an elderly woman were in the yard of a house. The child died on the spot from his injuries.
Around 22:30, Russians shelled the Dniprovsky district of Kherson with artillery. Three people were injured: An 87-year-old woman and an 85-year-old man sustained mine-blast traumas and shrapnel wounds, they were hospitalized in moderate condition. A 52-year-old woman also sustained severe injuries - her arm, stomach and chest were damaged.
Around 00:30, the occupiers attacked the area for the second time, this time with drones. The explosion injured a 63-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man, both of whom sustained shrapnel wounds. A 53-year-old man who was injured during the evening shelling was also taken to the hospital with explosive trauma, contusion and bruises.
Between July 8 and 9, at least 48 settlements in Kherson region came under fire. One person was killed and 17 others were wounded in the shelling. Three multi-storey buildings, ten private houses, a farm, a garage and several cars were damaged.
