Nine people in Kherson region were served suspicion notices of causing UAH 36 million in losses

Nine people were served suspicion notices in criminal proceedings related to the misappropriation of budget funds. The amount of damage caused is UAH 36.2 million.

This was announced by Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko.

Three directors of contractors are accused of misappropriation of budget funds.

The suspect is also the head of one of the medical institutions of the regional council and her accomplice. The investigation established that they supplied the institution with medical supplies that were unfit for use.

In addition, the head of one of the city council's departments was notified of being suspected. According to the prosecutor's office, technical supervision over the installation of shelters was only formally carried out - in fact, the shelters were not built, but budget funds were paid for them.

Employees of a utility company and a village council also became suspects.

Investigations in these cases are ongoing.

An HR inspector in Mykolaiv region organized a scheme worth hundreds of thousands of hryvnias at Ukrposhta. She withdrew the money through fictitious employment and now faces up to 12 years in prison.

In Mykolaiv region, employees of a company who, as part of an organized group, were engaged in illegal storage and disposal of hazardous waste, will be tried.

The Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office has sent to court an indictment against the director of a private enterprise suspected of fraud on a particularly large scale. According to the investigation, the man, while holding the position of executive director of a company that provides logistics services in the field of agricultural transshipment, entered into an agreement with a foreign company for the supply of 6,000 tons of soybeans.
