The Vodokanal explained the increase in service prices by the rise in electricity and consumables prices and an increase in salaries. The decision also states that the company must provide consumers with updated information and take into account the position of the community. The last time water tariffs in Izmail were revised was a year ago - the new prices were effective from June 2024.

Earlier, during the episode of Intent.Insight, Serhiy Chaban, Head of the Information Center of Infoksvodokanal. He said that after the end of martial law, it is planned to increase the water tariff from the current UAH 35 to UAH 55.44 per cubic meter.
