Mykolayivvodokanal announces an auction for the reconstruction of the water supply system

Mykolaivvodokanal plans to hold an auction for the reconstruction of the water supply network. It was decided to spend more than eight million hryvnias from the budget.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Prozorro procurement system.

Thus, the reconstruction of the water supply system is to be carried out on Admiral Makarov Street from Soborna Street to Navarinska Street.

The auction is scheduled for October 15, 2024. The expected value of the procurement is UAH 8 million 297 thousand 5252. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 82 thousand 975.

No bid security is required. However, the winner must post a security for the performance of the contract, which should amount to 3% of the contract value. As for payment for services, a 50% advance payment of the contract amount is required, with the balance to be paid after all work is completed.

Among other conditions, the contractor must provide a certificate of documented experience in performing similar work, have a material and technical base, and confirm the availability of employees with appropriate qualifications. The contractor must also submit financial statements for 2023, where the amount of income must be at least 50% of the expected value of the transaction.

In addition to the repair work, the contractor must uproot about 30 stumps and remove more than 15 dead trees.

<span style="font-size: 1em;">The selected contractor must complete all repair work by July 31, 2025.</span>

Recently, Mykolaivvodokanal decided to lay asphalt in the areas where utility repairs were carried out. It was planned to spend more than UAH 12 million from the budget.

The Prozorro auction took place on September 16 and was attended by only one company, Sovar Group, which was awarded the contract for the repairs. The company has repeatedly been the subject of journalistic investigations. Two such investigations are listed in the YouControl system, including one by Intent. Despite its short existence, the company has earned UAH 84 million 672 thousand 226 in public tenders.

An auction for major road repairs was also announced in Mykolaiv. Almost six million hryvnias were planned to be spent from the budget. The work was ordered by the Korabelnyi District Administration.

In addition, the city plans to build temporary parking and charging stations for city electric vehicles. More than seven million hryvnias were allocated from the budget for this purpose. Mykolaivelectrotrans was the customer for the work. The auction is scheduled to start on October 4. The winner must provide information on the experience of fulfilling a similar contract for the subject of procurement and a letter of recommendation.
