"Mykolaivvodokanal may receive UAH 695 million from the community budget and a new version of the charter. At the next session of the city council, they also plan to consider a project to expand the company's activities.

This is evidenced by the draft decision of the Mykolaiv City Council, which is to be considered at the next session.

The Mykolaiv City Council has approved a new version of the charter of the municipal utility Mykolaivvodokanal and plans to decide to increase its authorized capital by UAH 695.9 million. These funds will be allocated from the budget of the city's territorial community. After the amendments are made, the total authorized capital of the company will reach over UAH 2.1 billion.

According to the document, this decision was made to bring the documentation in line with the current legislation and to implement previous decisions of the city council on the formation of the company's supervisory board. At the end of May, the members of Mykolaiv City Council approved the composition of the Supervisory Board. It includes three independent members elected through an open competition, as well as two representatives of the city authorities.

In addition, at the next session, the deputies plan to consider an updated list of activities of Mykolaivvodokanal. The new charter proposes to detail and expand the company's functions.

The main areas include centralized water supply and sewerage, maintenance and repair of water networks, construction and reconstruction of infrastructure, design and laboratory services.

In addition, the company will be able to carry out foreign economic activity, manufacture equipment for the needs of the defense forces, repair civil defense facilities, build shelters, organize hot meals for employees, and perform other tasks within the framework of the law and the needs of the community.

In the first seven months of 2025, Mykolaivvodokanal spent more than UAH 380 million on the most expensive purchases. The main expenses were for electricity, reconstruction of water supply networks, and purchase of chemicals.
