Mykolaivska CHPP has announced a tender for almost UAH 5 million. The funds will be used to restore the landscaping after the heating networks were repaired.

The tender was published on April 11 on the Prozorro e-procurement portal.

The customer is Mykolaiv Heating and Power Plant, which will finance the project at its own expense.

Proposals from potential contractors will be accepted until April 19. The auction is scheduled for April 21 in the format of an open bidding with features that provide for a reduced deadline for submitting bids and the possibility of appealing them.

The successful bidder will have to provide services until December 31, 2025. The expected value of the procurement is UAH 4.7 million.

The works will include the restoration of asphalt pavement, sidewalks, green areas and other urban areas that were damaged during the repairs.

Intent has already written that the private joint-stock companyMykolaiv Heating andPower Plant has announced tenders for the reconstruction of the heating main. The total budget of the two projects is over UAH 70 million.

Mykolaiv is also planning to reconstruct the water supply network, for which more than UAH 4 million is allocated. The works will cover Mala Morska Street, from Nikolska to Spaska, and funding for the implementation of this project was provided by Denmark. And the Mykolaivvodokanal utility company plans to upgrade the networks on 3 Slobidska Street, from Chkalova to Zavodska. International donors have allocated more than UAH 15 million for this purpose.

Meanwhile, local businesses are actively earning money by repairing roads and laying tiles, where tenders and contracts often have political connections. Another contract for paving may be awarded to the company of a local MP, which has repeatedly been the subject of journalistic investigations.
