Voznesensk is preparing a decision to close kindergarten No. 16 "Yahidka The Voznesensk City Council is considering closing down the municipal pre-school No. 16. The decision to close Yahidka is at the planning stage.

The relevant draft decision was published on the city council's website.

The main reason for this step was the inability to guarantee the safety of children: it is impossible to arrange a shelter in the premises. In addition to the lack of a shelter, the institution had a number of technical problems, including a too small food unit that could not be modernized.

Economic and human resources factors also played a role: due to the small number of children in the facility, it was not possible to maintain a full-time staff of specialists (psychologist, nurse, etc.). Currently, the kindergarten is not actually operating - all the children have already been transferred to Horobynka kindergarten #15. For the convenience of families from the Pryamoye neighborhood, the authorities promise to organize free bus transportation. Horobynka kindergarten will become the successor to Yagidka, and the liquidation will save budget funds without compromising the educational process.

Earlier, the Mykolaiv Department of Energy and Energy Efficiency gave a 15-million tender to a firm associated with local officials a week before its liquidation.

According to the publication, the director of the department, Alla Lutska, signed an agreement with Pivdenbud Mykolaiv LTD for the overhaul of kindergarten No. 87. This happened despite violations of tender conditions and overpayments.

Two companies took part in the bidding. The winner lowered its offer by only 320 thousand hryvnias to get the contract. It is noted that such a move by the department raises questions, as it took place just before its official liquidation.

Earlier, in July, a similar tender involving the same companies was rejected due to inconsistent documentation. However, a month later, on August 15, despite the same violations, the department recognized Pivdenbud Mykolaiv LTD as the winner. It is noteworthy that it took only two days to make the decision, whereas in July the proceedings lasted two weeks. This acceleration is likely due to the upcoming liquidation of the department.
