Over the past day, Mykolaiv region has once again suffered hostile attacks.
According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on the night of March 18, air defense forces shot down one Russian Shahed 131/136 drone.
Also, during the day on March 17, the Russian military attacked the Kutsurub community three times with FPV kamikaze drones. One of the strikes took place on the outskirts of Parutino village, where a minibus carrying passengers was damaged. According to the CMA, there were no casualties.
Mykolaiv region is subjected to shelling by Russian troops almost daily. The occupiers continue to attack the region with kamikaze drones, missiles and artillery, causing destruction of civilian infrastructure and endangering civilians. Despite the constant pressure, the air defense forces are working effectively, destroying enemy targets.
Intent has already written how Russians attacked the outskirts of Mykolaiv with an unknown attack drone. As a result, a private house was damaged, but no people were injured.
Then the air defense forces destroyed 18 Shahed 131/136 kamikaze drones. As a result of the falling debris in Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts, dry grass and shrubs outside of settlements caught fire. There were no casualties.
Before that, the enemy launched a missile attack on the open area of Mykolaiv district, probably with an Iskander-M missile. The attack caused no damage or casualties. On the same day, at 08:20 and 08:22, Russian troops shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery and attacked five times with FPV drones.
The invaders also attacked the area with an X-35 cruise missile, which lost its combat capability over open terrain. At night, air defense destroyed two more drones. In Mykolaiv district, debris hit an infrastructure facility, causing a fire, and the blast wave damaged warehouses.
