Mykolaiv region decided to spend 363 million on the "road to the future"

Mykolaiv region is planning to repair a highway. It is planned to raise UAH 363 million for this purpose.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream digital recovery ecosystem.

It is planned to overhaul the public road of local importance between the settlements of Mykhailivka - Novofedorivka - Troianka.

The project was initiated by the Kazankivka village council.

According to the project description, the road between the villages of Mykolaiv region is in very poor condition due to the damage it sustained during the heavy traffic of military and civilian vehicles evacuating people from the war zone.

The poor condition of the road makes it much more difficult for local residents to access medical, educational and other social services, and negatively affects business and agricultural activities.

The project budget is UAH 363 million. It is planned to spend UAH 2 million on design and UAH 361 million on construction.

In order to implement the project, it is planned to take the following steps:

• Prepare design and estimate documentation.
• Complete the overhaul of the local road of regional importance between the villages of Mykhailivka, Novofedorivka, and Troianka by September 1, 2025.
• Involve the residents of Mykhailivka, Novofedorivka and Troianka villages in the process of road repairs.
• Organize continuous monitoring of each stage of the road overhaul and regularly display the results in a digital ecosystem that will be controlled by the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.

The project is currently in implementation status and requires funding.

Recently, a four-hundred-million-dollar contract for road repairs in Mykolaiv region was awarded to an Odesa-based company. The bidding was held without a competitive procedure. The lot amount was reduced by four million. It is planned to overhaul the transport facility at km 144+360 of the public road of national importance P-55 Odesa - Voznesensk - Novyi Buh, Mykolaiv region. The tender states that additional work is required.

In September, Rostdorstroy was also awarded a contract to repair the road for more than one hundred million hryvnias. The contract with the company for the current medium repair of the T-15-15 Fedorivka - Rybakivka - Luhove recreation center was signed on August 3. About 25 kilometers will be repaired.

Also, the City Roads utility company announced a tender to select a company to be paid to restore the road surface after emergency repairs to heating networks in Odesa. The cost of the procurement is over UAH 34 million.
