Mykolaiv Drone Attack Injures 4 on April 5, Fires Break Out in Homes

On the night of April 6, Mykolaiv was attacked by drones, injuring four people and damaging houses and cars. The Kutsurubska and Ochakivska communities were also attacked with FPV drones.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

On the night of April 6, air defense units were operating in Mykolaiv region.

"Around 22:00, on April 5, Mykolaiv was attacked by kamikaze drones of the Shahed 131/136 type." The falling debris and blast wave caused two fires in the private sector. The fires were quickly extinguished by firefighters. The shelling damaged 13 private houses and a car.

Four people were injured: women aged 49, 67 and 72, and a man aged 57. All are in stable condition and will undergo outpatient treatment.

On April 5, Russian troops fired four times at the Kutsurub community with FPV drones. Also, at 13:10, an FPV drone attacked the waters of the Ochakiv community. In all cases, there were no casualties.

On the night of March 28, air defense forces destroyed kamikaze drones over Mykolaiv region, while the enemy struck at Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. In Ochakiv, a power line was damaged, and in Voznesensk, a warehouse of an agricultural enterprise caught fire due to a hit.

On March 24, Russian troops shelled the Mykolaiv region with artillery and FPV drones, attacking the Kutsurubska, Halytsynivska, and Ochakivska communities. A medical facility and the windows of a multi-story building were hit.

Also on March 22, the Ochakiv community was attacked three times by FPV drones, one of which damaged the boiler room of an educational institution, and another caused a car to catch fire. In the village of Lupareve, the debris of a downed drone and a blast wave damaged a country house.

On March 20, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv district nine times with FPV drones and shelled the Kutsurub community with artillery. The day before, on March 19, the Halytsynivka community came under attack by drones , where a 49-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction and was provided with outpatient medical care. In addition, the roof of a warehouse, two tractors and a combine harvester were damaged.
