The Central District Court of Mykolaiv has ordered the seizure of the property of a suspect in the dissemination of information about the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The suspect used three phones to transmit information about the military.

This is evidenced by the decision of the Central District Court of Mykolaiv.

The court upheld the investigator's motion and ordered the seizure of property seized during a search at the Nibulon JV LLC.

The property in question is mobile phones of various brands, including ZTE, Moto and Galaxy A30. The seized property is part of a criminal proceeding investigating an offense of high treason.

The suspect is accused of systematically disseminating confidential information about the movement and deployment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The investigation revealed that the suspect used these mobile phones to transfer data via the Telegram mobile application.

The court ruled that the seized devices may contain important evidence, so they are subject to arrest for further forensic examinations. This decision was made to ensure the evidence base in the criminal proceedings related to the violation of state security.

Last December, the Zavodskyi District Court of Mykolaiv sentenced a person who acted in favor of the Russian Federation by providing information for subversive activities against Ukraine during martial law.

During the trial, it was established that the accused worked as an electrician at Nibulon JV LLC and transmitted strategically important information via Telegram in correspondence with a representative of the aggressor state.

According to the investigation, the man used his Xiomi 9 T pro mobile phone and Google Maps application to transmit the exact coordinates of the locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) units in Mykolaiv and surrounding areas. One of these key sites was the location where Ukrainian soldiers were on duty at the Kupol checkpoint on the outskirts of the city.

Earlier, the SBU identified a resident of Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region, who was actively spreading anti-Ukrainian sentiments through his YouTube channel and Facebook page. These platforms had more than 10 thousand subscribers, and the man used them to call for a coup d'état and seizure of administrative buildings.

The resident of Bashtanka was also found guilty of committing actions that threatened the national security of Ukraine. Between June 28 and July 14, 2022, he transmitted information about the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine using chatbots and private messages.
