Mykolaiv City Council Announces 5M Tender for Road Cleaning Services

The administration of the Central District of Mykolaiv City Council has announced a tender for mechanized vacuum and wet road cleaning.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro electronic public procurement system.

The tender was published on February 5, with bids accepted until February 13, and the auction is scheduled for February 14.

The expected purchase price is UAH 5 million 323 thousand 760. The minimum price reduction step is 0.56%, i.e. UAH 30 thousand.

According to the terms of the tender, the contractor must ensure the cleaning of 4478.82 km of roads with vacuum machines and 489.26 km of wet cleaning. The cleaning should be carried out during 2025 in the Central District of the city.

Payment for the work performed is made after signing the relevant acts within 15 working days.

The contractor must take all the garbage collected during the cleaning process to the municipal landfill located in the village of Vesniane or to other authorized landfills. The contractor must also provide documented experience in performing similar work and confirm the material and technical base.

Mykolaiv also plans to restore the elements of public amenities, including asphalt pavement and paving slabs. For this purpose, a tender was announced with an estimated value of over UAH three million. The customer is Mykolaivoblenergo Joint Stock Company.

At the same time, the South Ukrainian Mykolaiv region announced a tender to select a contractor that will be paid more than UAH 3.6 million for the renovation of a pedestrian road. The works include laying out shaped tiles and leveling the surface.

In addition, the contract for road cleaning in Mykolaiv may be awarded without a tender to a company often chosen by local authorities. The bid exceeded the procurement amount by only UAH 467. At the same time, this company has already earned almost 400 million hryvnias in public tenders.
