Mykolaiv Alumina Plant has been officially included in the list of objects that the government plans to put up for sale in the first place. This became known from the State Property Fund's plans to resume the 'Big Privatization' process.

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.

The Government is preparing the first sanctioned assets for privatization auction, the Prime Minister said after a meeting with the Head of the State Property Fund Dmytro Natalukha and the acting Head of the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources Leonid Muzykus. During the meeting, the head of the SPFU reported on the progress of the government-approved schedule, which currently covers 26 sites across the country.

According to the Prime Minister, the Cabinet of Ministers is doing its utmost to ensure that the property confiscated from sanctioned persons is sold as soon as possible. According to the plan, the first to be put up for sale are the capital's Ocean Plaza shopping mall, Mykolaiv Alumina Plant, Demurin Mining and Processing Plant, and the AMSTEL-SKI hotel in Bukovel.

We also remind you that the State Property Fund has put up a 99.57% stake in the Odesa Port Plant for privatization auction. The company is one of the largest chemical complexes in Ukraine with exports to more than 30 countries.

It produces fertilizers and nitrogen compounds, including ammonia and urea, and transports its own and other companies' products for export. Over 85% of its products are exported to more than 30 countries.

Due to the full-scale war, the plant operated partially, so to resume full production, a large private investor is needed who will receive a promising and profitable facility with access to port facilities for loading Panamax vessels (50-60 thousand tons). Berths No. 1 and No. 2 are liquid bulk berths, No. 3 is for ammonia, and No. 4 is for liquid bulk.
