Morning explosions in Odesa: a house is damaged, there is a victim

As a result of the morning attack on Odesa and its suburbs, one man was injured and his private house was damaged.

According to the head of the JFO, Oleh Kiper, in the morning, on May 23, Russian occupants attacked Odesa district with attack drones. A private house in the suburbs of Odesa was damaged and a man was injured.

"Doctors provided him with all the necessary assistance. All relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack," the JFO said.

Due to the threat of enemy shelling, training for the first shift in Odesa is being held remotely today. This was reported by Olena Buynevych, director of the Odesa Department of Education.

Children who are already in schools have been moved to shelters. Kindergartens will work only after school hours.

The air alert in Odesa region was announced at 8:20 am, and at 9:25 am local residents heard explosions. Air defense forces were targeting enemy drones.

On the night of May 16, an enemy drone attack destroyed the house of Ihor Bilyakov, director of the Odesa Zoo. He was not injured. Then Russian troops attacked Odesa region with attack drones. Civilian objects in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and Odesa districts came under fire. Three people were injured - two men and a woman. They were diagnosed with shrapnel wounds, fractures, thermal burns and mine-blast injuries. All of them were at home when they became victims of the shelling.

On May 17, it became known that the injured woman died in hospital.
