More than 10 educational and medical institutions to be restored in Kherson region in the new year

Since the beginning of the year, 11 facilities have been added to the DREAM Digital Ecosystem for Accountable Recovery Management, which is scheduled to be restored in 2025. At the same time, the cost has been calculated for only two restoration projects.

This became known from the announcements published in DREAM.

The Department of Territorial Development of the Kherson Regional State Administration and the Department of Health of the Kherson Regional State Administration have determined the cost of overhauling the building of the Vysokopil Lyceum and repairing the mental health unit at the regional rehabilitation hospital. In the first case, it may cost 34.8 million hryvnias, in the second - 11 million.

The Department of Territorial Development of Kherson Regional State Administration has not yet decided on the repair of canteens in Myroliubiv Lyceum and Borozensk hub school, repair of basements to equip shelters in Kherson kindergartens #18, 10, 71, Kherson Lyceum #31, kindergarten-school #15 and the center of extracurricular activities.

In December 2024, the state digital ecosystem for recovery management DREAM contained 334 projects for the reconstruction of Kherson region. Their implementation required UAH 7.1 billion. The Chornobaiv community ranked first in terms of the number of reconstruction projects included in the system. They registered 87 projects with a total estimated budget of UAH 1.2 billion.

The DREAM ecosystem is implemented by the DREAM Project Office within the GIZ Ukraine Sustainable Society Cluster, funded by the German government and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH." Dream was established and operates in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1286 of November 15, 2022.

Earlier, the DREAM ecosystem announced its intention to build a new civil defense facility for Velyko Oleksandrivska secondary school No. 2. The project belongs to the program of comprehensive restoration of Kherson region and is being implemented by order No. 873 of 19.12.23 of the head of Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin. The balance holder is the Velyko Oleksandrivka Village Council, and the project initiator is the Department of Territorial Development of the Kherson Regional State Administration.
