Several dozen modern UAVs have been handed over to the Marine Corps' troops defending the Kherson direction.

This was reported by the press service of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine.

The post says that small and fast drones have long proven to be reliable and effective equipment for both reconnaissance and destruction of the occupiers.

"These means are extremely important for ensuring successful operations of our defenders and protection of the right bank," said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

"The Maviks were purchased at the initiative of the Kherson Military District at the expense of the Beryslav, Novokakhovka, Holoprystan and Skadovsk communities. About five million hryvnias were allocated to help the defenders.

In addition, in the Kherson region, units of the Marine Corps and reconnaissance forces received additional protection. Anti-drone capes and enemy drone detection systems were sent to the Defenders. The Skadovsk District Administration assisted in this.

Also, according to Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson MVA, the zonal department of the Military Law Enforcement Service in Kherson was reinforced with a new special vehicle. He noted that the Military Law Enforcement Service cares about the purity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the rule of law and justice. Military law enforcement officers counteract sabotage, prevent looting, protect military facilities, escort prisoners of war, etc. The newly equipped minibus will help them better fulfill their duties.

Earlier it was reported that electronic warfare equipment was handed over to the marines of the Theater of Operations in Kherson region.

Also, eight powerful inverter generators were handed over to the defense. They will ensure the smooth operation of electronic warfare equipment. In the context of constant shelling of Kherson region, an autonomous power supply for military units during combat missions is urgently needed.
