One hundred FPV drones have been added to the arsenal of the Kherson Defense Forces.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

The official's post says that another "flock of war birds" has been sent to the Marine Corps Logistics Brigade and is ready to destroy the enemy. The strike drones will help our defenders perform combat missions in the Kherson sector.

It is noted that the transferred drones were purchased at the initiative of the Kherson Regional Military Command and at the expense of the communities of Kherson region, in particular Beryslav, Chulakiv, Novokakhovka, Holoprystan and Novoraysk. They allocated one and a half million hryvnias for this purpose.

Prokudin also said that the Kherson region's defenders from the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service and the Marine Corps Training Area received ten powerful tactical-level electronic warfare devices. This decision will help the defenders of the region to form a more reliable air defense circuit over the Kherson region.

He added that the cost of defense support is UAH 7.5 million. The electronic warfare devices were purchased at the initiative of the Kherson Regional Military Administration and at the expense of the Kherson, Novokakhovka, Mylivka, Khrestivka, Tavrychanka, Chaplynka, Rubanivka, and Prysyvaska communities.

Earlier it was reported that two operating systems with dozens of fighter drones were delivered to the Kherson Defense Forces. The systems and drones were received, in particular, by the territorial defense brigade of the Marines and the National Guard of Ukraine. It is noted that these systems are intended to deprive the enemy of the ability to conduct aerial reconnaissance. Thus, the Kherson region is expanding the range of means aimed at countering enemy unmanned aerial vehicles.
