Massive business registration: Odesa region among the leaders in Ukraine

Odesa region is among the five regions of Ukraine with the largest number of companies registered at mass addresses. As of May 2025, there are 89 such registration points in the region, and more than 6.2 thousand companies are registered there.

This is reported by analysts from Opendatabot.

In total, there are 1,654 addresses of mass registration of companies in Ukraine. More than 180 thousand companies are legally registered at these locations, 83% of which remain active. The largest number of such addresses is in Kyiv: the capital concentrates more than half of all mass registration points. It is also home to the absolute record holder - an ordinary five-story building at 12 Melnykova Street, where more than 2.3 thousand companies are registered.

After Kyiv, the leaders in terms of the number of mass "business registrations" are Kharkiv region (133 addresses and 9.4 thousand companies), Dnipropetrovs'k region (104 addresses - 6.6 thousand companies), Odesa region (89 addresses - 6.2 thousand companies) and Lviv region (55 addresses - 3.9 thousand companies).

Interestingly, since the beginning of the full-scale war, 9,318 new companies have moved to the mass registration addresses. In 2024, 2,775 such businesses appeared, which is almost a quarter less than a year earlier.

Wholesale companies are the most commonly registered at mass addresses, accounting for more than 30% or 45.7 thousand.

Odesa region is among the five regions of Ukraine with the largest number of new individual entrepreneurs who have registered since the beginning of 2025. The number of closures of individual entrepreneurs has also increased in Odesa region. 3.8 thousand in Odesa. Odesa region also became the second region of Ukraine in terms of the number of companies that have relocated since the beginning of 2022.
