Mashkov's apartment in Odesa was confiscated from the Russian star of Liquidation

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has announced the confiscation of a 100-square-meter apartment in Odesa from Russian actor Vladimir Mashkov, who played the lead role in the TV series Liquidation.

Also, according to the SBU, the actor was sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison.

Since the offender is hiding in Russia, the trial was held in a special court proceeding in absentia (in the absence of the accused).

Vladimir Mashkov is a member of the Kremlin's pool of propagandists and often speaks at mass rallies in support of a full-scale war against Ukraine.

In December 2023, the defendant was appointed co-chairman of Putin's "election headquarters" in the so-called presidential elections in Russia. Then the actor traveled around Russia and the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine, where he promoted racism and glorified the occupation groups of the aggressor country.

Among other things, during pro-Kremlin "concerts and rallies," he called for the continuation of missile and bomb attacks on the civilian infrastructure of our country.

Based on the evidence collected by the SBU investigators, the court found Vladimir Mashkov guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

Comprehensive measures are currently underway to bring the convict to justice for his crimes against our country.
