Law enforcement officer who helped evade mobilization to be tried in Odesa

<span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) have completed a pre-trial investigation of a law enforcement officer from Odesa region who promised to issue an illegal write-off from the military register in exchange for a monetary reward.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>According to the SBI, the indictment has already been sent to court. </span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>According to the investigation, the law enforcement officer used his official position to search for men who had evaded mobilization and were wanted. He offered potential "clients" to resolve the issue through his acquaintances, medical specialists.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span><span>"For example, in the documented episode, he promised to organize the registration of a disability of the relevant group through a medical and social examination for 15 thousand US dollars. This status would allow the person to be removed from the military register," the Bureau explained.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span>

Before that, an indictment was sent to the court against the former head of the water police sector of one of Odesa's district police departments. He is accused of setting up an illegal scheme to smuggle men of military age abroad.
