In the first month of 2025, almost fifty residents of Kherson Oblast joined the socially useful work carried out by the "Army of Restoration".

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, in January, the Army's employees provided firewood to the Unbreakable Points, distributed humanitarian aid, and joined in landscaping, garbage collection, and cleaning of social latrines in the Dar'yivka community.

"Thanks to this project, people have the opportunity to get jobs and salaries," noted KHOVA.

The government launched the"Army of Recovery" project in the fall of 2022 to financially support people who have temporarily lost their jobs and involve them in rebuilding the country. People have the opportunity to engage in socially useful work and receive a paycheck that is higher than the average unemployment benefit.

The work is financed through the Compulsory State Unemployment Insurance Fund.

"The Kherson Regional Employment Center is working to attract even more workers to the 'Army of Restoration,'" the administration said.

In the fall of 2024, 557 people joined the"Army of Restoration" in Beryslav and Kherson districts. Members of the Army were involved in rubble removal, cleaning, humanitarian aid distribution, weaving camouflage nets, repair and restoration work.

And last spring, residents of the Dariivka community who joined the "Army of Restoration" helped local residents to get laundry and drying services in local social laundries. They also performed community improvement work - cleaning streets and adjacent territories of the elderly, pruning trees and bushes, and removing garbage. The employees also helped to implement a project to build a safety island for young people in one of the community's villages. They eliminated the consequences of shelling, unloaded construction materials and humanitarian aid.
