A local resident who was in charge of financial issues of the occupation "Ministry of Information Policy of Kherson region" was suspected.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson regional police.

The post says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the local resident was served in absentia with a notice of suspicion of collaboration (Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, in September 2022, the suspect collaborated with the enemy, taking the position of the so-called "Head of the Financial and Accounting Department - Chief Accountant" in the occupation "Ministry of Information Policy of the Kherson Region". In this position, she performed organizational, administrative and economic functions: she dealt with issues of financial and logistical support of the pseudo-ministry, calculated "salaries" in Russian rubles, prepared financial reports, etc.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the SBU Office in Kherson region.

Earlier it was reported that three more pseudo-heads of "municipal districts" in Kherson region were suspected of collaboration based on SBU materials. According to the investigation, the suspects voluntarily participated in illegal elections to the so-called "councils of deputies" in the temporarily occupied districts of Kherson region. Having received the "mandates", the offenders ran the "councils" in the Genichesk, Skadovsk and Velykolepetivka "municipal districts". While in their "positions", the defendants organized the work of illegally created authorities.

It was also said that a deputy of the village council, who headed the illegal authority in Kalanchak, would be tried in Kherson region.
