Kherson region experiences a new wave of terror: six wounded, destroyed houses

Over the past 24 hours, Russians shelled at least 39 settlements in Kherson region, hitting residential areas and social infrastructure. As a result of the attacks, six civilians were wounded and a multi-story building and private houses were damaged.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

During the day from July 24 to July 25, 2025, Russian troops fired on at least 39 settlements in the Kherson region, including the city of Kherson.

Residential neighborhoods and social infrastructure came under fire, a multi-story building and at least 6 private homes were damaged. Six civilians were injured as a result of the shelling.

Among the settlements attacked were Tyahynka, Sofiyivka, Dniprovske, Mykilske, Bilozerka, Zmiivka, Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Stanislav, Vesele.

On July 23, the consequences of the previous shelling of the village of Kachkarivka in the Mylivka community became known. At least seven residential buildings, outbuildings, garages and a tractor were damaged or destroyed as a result of drone attacks and artillery strikes.

On the morning of July 24, Russian forces attacked the Dniprovsky district of Kherson with drones. Two men, aged 73 and 57, were injured. They suffered explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds. Both were hospitalized.

In the afternoon, the Russian army conducted air strikes in Kherson. As a result of the attack, a 75-year-old woman was injured and taken to the hospital with an explosive injury. A resident of Bilozerka, who was injured on July 20, also sought medical assistance. The 66-year-old woman was diagnosed with an explosive injury and bruises to her torso.

Another victim is a 72-year-old resident of Novooleksandrivka who sustained an explosive injury and contusion as a result of a drone strike the night before. A 42-year-old man from Bilozerka, who was injured on July 17, also went to the hospital. He was diagnosed with explosive trauma and contusion.

In total, Russian troops shelled at least 41 settlements in Kherson region between July 23 and 24. Two high-rise buildings, 13 private houses, a truck and a garage were damaged. The attacks killed one person and injured six, including two children.
