On September 17, drone detection equipment was handed over to combat units operating in the Kherson region.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

The post says that the 124th Marine Corps Territorial Defense Brigade received several of these systems. Therefore, the JFO expects that they will increase the effectiveness of units countering enemy UAVs.

Prokudin also said that he had talked to the military about the prospects of providing the frontline with other means of early detection and countering drones. He promised that from now on, the OVA will work in this direction as well.

This is not the first time that civilians from different communities in Kherson region have helped the military defending the region from racists. Earlier, it was reported that 130 new 8-10-inch FPV strike drones were delivered to one of the marine units of the Theater of Operations in Kherson region. Each of them can carry up to three kilograms of deadly cargo for the occupiers. It was noted that these drones were purchased thanks to the joint efforts of the communities of Kherson region. The Beryslav, Yuvileina, and Vynohradiv communities allocated more than two million hryvnias to purchase them.

It was also said that marines, territorial defense soldiers, National Guard and border guards who are defending Kherson region from racists received new drones to destroy the occupiers. On May 29, the soldiers of the 126th Tank Brigade and the 35th Separate Marine Brigade received more than a hundred drones of various types: FPV attack drones and reconnaissance Mavic drones with additional capabilities. Their cost is almost two million UAH. The UAVs were purchased at the initiative of the Kherson Regional Military Command and at the expense of local communities. Financial support was also provided by Paritetbudinvest Construction Company LLC.
