As of January 2025, as a result of the Russian armed aggression, 8676 destroyed or damaged objects were recorded on the territory of Bilozerska, Dar'yivka, Muzykivka, Stanislav and Chornobaivka communities in Kherson district.

According to the report of Mykhailo Lynetsky, head of the Kherson district military administration, the residential sector suffered the most. The enemy destroyed or damaged 8366 private houses, leaving thousands of people homeless.

In addition to residential infrastructure, Russian shelling caused significant damage to social facilities. Twenty-four medical facilities were destroyed or severely damaged, making it difficult to provide medical care to the population. In addition, 32 administrative buildings were damaged, including the premises of local authorities that coordinated humanitarian aid and provided support to citizens.

Recently, in Kherson, the commission approved compensation only for the owners of homes that were completely destroyed by the war. Those whose homes were only damaged were denied compensation.

For example, the commission for the inspection of damaged and destroyed property in the Kherson city community decided to pay compensation to 15 applicants for a total of over UAH 27.3 million at its last meeting.

At the same time, 17 applicants were denied compensation because their homes were damaged but not destroyed. The consideration of another 10 applications has been temporarily suspended because the properties are located in areas where it is impossible to conduct an inspection due to the security situation. The Commission will return to these applications when the situation allows.

Kherson and the region are subject to daily shelling from various types of weapons. In the morning of February 13, Russian troops shelled a residential sector in the central district of Kherson. One of the enemy shells hit a multi-story building. A 48-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman were wounded in the attack.

Before that, the invaders attacked settlements in the Kherson region, striking at residential areas and social infrastructure. Then the Russians damaged at least 12 private houses and destroyed several civilian cars.
