Emergency road repairs will be carried out in Kherson district. Almost UAH 70 million will be allocated from the budget.

On March 24, the state institution "Local Roads of Kherson Region" announced a tender for the operational maintenance of public roads of local importance in Kherson district, Kherson region. The expected cost of the works is UAH 68.97 million.
According to the terms of the tender, the contractor will have to perform a range of works aimed at ensuring safe and uninterrupted traffic. This includes filling in subsidence, strengthening roadsides, cleaning ditches, repairing bridges and culverts, repairing potholes, painting barrier fences, installing road signs and applying markings. The project also includes roadside cleaning and winter road maintenance, including snow removal and de-icing.
Applications from potential contractors will be accepted until April 2, after which an auction will be held on the same day in the format of open bidding with special features. This means that the application process and possible appeals will be held in a shortened time frame.
The main material resources to be used for road repairs and maintenance include asphalt mixtures, metallurgical slag, bitumen emulsion, etc. The works will be performed in accordance with the international CESMM4 measurement system.
Meanwhile, more than UAH 170 million is planned to be spent on emergency repairs of public roads of national importance in Beryslav district of Kherson region.
Since the end of February, the Kherson Regional Reconstruction Service has started announcing tenders for the repair of houses damaged by the Russians in Posad Pokrovsky. They announced five tenders for more than 238 million hryvnias to repair houses and two auctions for the construction of 103 residential buildings.
On March 7, 2025, the Government of Ukraine allocated 5.2 billion hryvnias for the comprehensive restoration of five settlements, including Posad Pokrovske in the Kherson region. The plan is to "rebuild better than it was," which means a comprehensive approach to modernizing infrastructure and improving the lives of citizens.
