It is in the Kherson sector that the Russian army conducts the most strikes with "kamikaze drones," using up to 250 FPV drones per day.

Vladyslav Voloshyn, a spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, summarizes the results.

"This is quite a large number. For example, in two Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy uses, for example, 190-200 drones. That is, Kherson and the settlements located near it account for 200-250 strikes by such drones," he said.

Voloshyn also noted that the occupiers do not stop conducting air strikes on the right bank of the Kherson region, in particular on such settlements as Odradokamyanka and Lviv.

"They use aviation every day, striking with unguided aircraft missiles. The enemy is generally trying to create a death strip along the combat line in our rear - in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions. That is, to make sure that there are as few buildings, people, and structures on the coast as possible to keep the defense. That is, everything approaching our positions, everything approaching the Dnipro, the enemy is trying to hit with FPV drones and artillery," he explained.

Kherson region suffers from enemy attacks that have intensified recently. They mostly take place in the island part.

"They are shelling not only Kherson, but also Nikopol and Marhanets, in particular, using the territory of Zaporizhzhia NPP, which has been turned into a military base," noted Voloshyn.

Russian troops have intensified drone attacks on access roads to Kherson, including the strategically important Mykolaiv-Kherson highway.
