Kherson City Council's Municipal Enterprises Spend ₴113.5M on Vehicles, Fuel, and More

Last year, municipal enterprises of Kherson City Council bought cars, fuel and construction materials.

Intent investigated who spent the most and what the money was spent on.

<span>The municipal enterprise </span>Parks of Kherson<span> signed 457 contracts for 48.9 million hryvnias. A little less than half of this amount - UAH 19.2 million - was spent on vehicles. At an open tender with special conditions, they purchased a portal bunker truck for UAH 6.7 million, four SBM BP-27 flatbed trucks for UAH 11.4 million, and a Renault Duster for UAH one million.</span>

The company also purchased fuel for UAH 10.9 million. In addition, they contracted another utility company, Ecopolis, to dispose of garbage. Parks spent UAH 2.5 million on this.

Last year, the City Road Department signed 40 agreements worth UAH 23.4 million. The lion's share of expenditures was again on cars. The company purchased two trucks with a crane-manipulator unit for UAH 8.9 million and a TAD JUMBO semi-trailer for UAH 6.3 million. The utility also purchased fuel for UAH 4.5 million. In addition, they bought spare parts for cars and ordered their technical inspection.

"Khersonelectrotrans signed 351 contracts for UAH 21.3 million. Of this amount, 16.3 million was spent on electricity. The rest of the money went to pay for consumables: supports, tires, glass, etc.

Kherson Municipal Transport Service signed 455 agreements worth UAH 11.9 million. Most of the money was spent on fuel - UAH 7.9 million. The rest was spent on engines, maintenance and repair services.

Ecopolis spent 5.2 million hryvnias last year. 1.4 million was spent on the construction of the foundation and access roads for dynamic truck scales at the landfill. The same amount was paid for fuel and another million for the construction of a fence at the temporary storage site for demolition waste and the placement of equipment for its processing.

Other city council enterprises spent less. They bought mostly fuel, electricity, and consumables. It is also worth noting that most often Kherson city council municipal enterprises made procurements without using the Prozorro electronic system.
