Kherson authorities allocate almost 6 million for emergency response

The Kherson City Military Administration has approved an action plan to prevent emergencies and eliminate the consequences of natural disasters in 2025.

The document was signed by the head of the administration Roman Mrochko.

A total of UAH 5.6 million has been allocated for emergency repairs, purchase of materials and support of critical infrastructure. The main areas of funding include:

The work will be performed by the municipal enterprise Parks of Kherson, which will restore the damaged housing, social infrastructure and public utilities.

The document also provides for the publication of all costs on the official website of the city council, and the military administration will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of the decision.

Earlier, Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration, signed a document according to which the total budget will amount to UAH 2.4 billion, of which the special fund will receive UAH 3.1 million. The bulk of the funds were distributed between the public sector, social protection and housing and communal services.

Meanwhile, in Kherson, representatives of the city council signed a contract worth more than one million hryvnias without bidding or auction to provide waste disposal services and take it to a landfill.

In addition, the executive committee of the Kherson City Council signed a contract with a private entrepreneur for the supply of flowers worth almost UAH 100,000.
