Kharkiv residents beat Kyiv in the competition for broadcasting on Odesa radio airwaves

The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting has determined the winner of the tender for a license to broadcast using the radio frequency spectrum at 95.3 MHz in Odesa.

The information was published by the press service of the National Council.

The tender was attended by Matrix+ TV and Radio Company Limited Liability Company with the call sign NovaLine from Kharkiv and the capital's

Kharkiv LLC was chosen asthe winner. It will have to ensure the implementation of the broadcasting program concept: to provide a share of songs (musical works with lyrics) in the state language in the amount of not less than 45 percent of the total volume of songs distributed during the day, as well as not less than 45 percent of the total volume of songs distributed in each time period between 7 am and 2 pm and between 3 pm and 10 pm. The license is valid for 10 years.

The ultimate beneficial owner of the LLC is Oleksandr Semenov. The radio station will broadcast in the city of Odesa and the territory of Odesa, Chornomorsk city, Avanhardivska, Velykodolynska, Tairovska, Chornomorsk settlement, Velykodalnytska, Dachnenska, Krasnosilska, Nerubayska, Usativska, Fontanska rural territorial communities of Odesa district.

Instead, Media Space FM - We-Ukraine LLC was determined the winner of the tender for a license to broadcast using the radio frequency spectrum at 96.6 MHz also in Odesa.

The ultimate beneficial owner of the company is Igor Petrenko. It will broadcast in the same communities as NovaLine.

In February, the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting decided to register Intent as an online media entity.
