The photo exhibition of Natalia Dovbysh, a photojournalist from MediaInfo, which had been running since March in Odesa's Bookstore-Café at 77 Evropeiska Street, ended on May 30.

According to Intent's correspondents, during the finish, most of the photos were sold out by the participants.

The total amount raised was over 1.5 thousand hryvnias. MediaInfo added the same amount, and all these funds will be used as a charitable contribution to a donation for one of the brigades.

In addition, the author donated one of her photos to the Bookstore-Café - a photo with cats against the sea, which will become one of the symbols of the institution. They also decided to give the photo from Kherson to their Kherson colleagues.

Natalia Dovbysh also collaborates with the Intent publication and this is not the first time that she has exhibited her work as a photographer. In July 2025, a photo exhibition titled "Museum in Time and Beyond" was held at the Odesa Archaeological Museum, where Natalia Dovbysh's photographs were presented. Throughout the full-scale offensive of the Ukrainian-Russian war, Natalia was capturing a number of moments from the life of Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Odesa in order to preserve them in photographic memory.

As a photojournalist, Natalia also recorded events outside of Odesa, which is why among almost 50 photos one could also see shots from Bakhmut, Ochakiv, Kherson, and the de-occupied Mykolaiv region.

Also, Andriy Sahaidakovsky 's first solo exhibition in Odesa, Between Objects, opened on May 29 at the Odesa National Art Museum. The essence of this project was that the various objects of the exhibition were packaged. In this way, the artist seemed to pause the existence between objects. The second line of the project was the painting that Andrii Sgaidakovskyi created on old rugs as a contrast between the "poor" material, the packaged objects, and the luxurious hall of the palace.

By visiting the Bookstore-Café at 77 Evropeiska Street, you will not only support Ukrainian books and the local cultural space, but also independent journalism, as the project was created as one of the ways to support independent media.
